This Privacy Policy explains how YGC Labs Pty Ltd collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information through the Life Dashboard website at lifedashboard.com.au and its launch mailing list. The Life Dashboard app will have its own privacy policy, published when the app is released.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide. When you join our mailing list, we collect your email address and the date and time you subscribed.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the website, our website host, Squarespace, uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your visit, including:
the pages you view;
how you reached the website (for example, through a link, a search engine or a social media post);
your browser and device type; and
your approximate location, derived from your IP address.
We view this information in aggregate form and do not use it to identify you.
Email engagement. When we send you emails, we collect information about whether each email was opened and which links were clicked.
2. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
send you news about the Life Dashboard, including its launch and occasional updates before launch;
understand how the website is used and improve it; and
respond to your enquiries and requests.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your email address with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
3. Disclosure of your information
We use the following service providers, who handle personal information on our behalf:
Squarespace, which hosts the website, stores our mailing list and sends our emails; and
Google, which provides our email account (Gmail), if you contact us by email.
We may also disclose personal information where required or authorised by law.
4. Overseas disclosure
Squarespace and Google are based in the United States. Your personal information is likely to be stored and processed in the United States, and may be processed in other countries where those providers operate.
5. Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. The website uses cookies set by Squarespace for essential functions and for visitor analytics. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The website will continue to work, but your visit may not be included in our statistics.
6. Data retention
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Website analytics data is retained by Squarespace in accordance with its own retention periods.
7. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, including by using reputable service providers with their own security measures.
8. Your rights and choices
Unsubscribe: every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing takes effect immediately.
Access and correction: you may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you.
Deletion: you may ask us to delete your personal information.

9. Complaints
If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles or mishandled your personal information, please contact us at hello@lifedashboard.com.au. We will investigate and respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
